The Delcambres in Abu Dhabi

Today we spent the majority of the day at our house. We had our TV's delivered, frig, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and cooker as well. Some of the outlets are not the right kinds to plug in our washing machine and dishwasher, so we have to have maintenance come and change them out tomorrow. The cable guy came today as well and placed our dish on the roof and hooked everything up. It is really difficult to communitcate with delivery guys because none of them speak english. Not to mention their quality of work is not up to our standards and they stink terribly. Lance and I feel like we are going round and round to get things done. Although the compound service company "deep cleaned" our villa for us we still needed to do cleaning to get it up to our standards. Lance and I spent the day wiping down cabinets, vacuuming, mopping, etc on the bottom floor of the villa. I am going back tomorrow and starting on the second floor. Our large container that traveled by sea is supposed to arrive at port this Monday. I think it will take around a week for it to clear customs and be delivered to us. We have extended our apartment in the city until next Saturday. Buisy week ahead of us. Evelyn going to school everyday and setting up shop in our house.
