Thank you God, Lance comes home tomorrow after 3 weeks and 2 days. Next week the packers come to get our things and we plan to leave July 27th. I realized yesterday that the dogs vaccines were not correct, even though the vet. told me they were. So we got everything taken care of yesterday by the hair on our chinny chin chin. You see, dogs vaccines have to be at least 12 months old but not younger than 4 weeks old. Yesterday was excactly 4 weeks until we leave. Things are rolling.

The buyers for our house have pushed the closing date back to July 20th. This allows us more time to prepare for the move. We are still planning on sending our shipment ahead of us so we don't have to wait very long on the other end. We estimate that we will pack and load the first week of July.

Yesterday Lance found a home for us in Abu Dhabi. It is in a compound called Golf Gardens. The compounds has really nice facilites like a pool, workout, and classes for the kids. It is really nice there. See the link to a video I found on youtube of the villa.

One week down and two to go until Lance comes home from Abu Dhabi. He had a hard first couple of days getting adjusted to the time change and being away from all of us. But now he is doing great. He went jet skiing Saturday and saw a family of dolphins in the water. He is now orientating to his new job and he is really excitted about it. We sure do miss him. We are keeping buisy in the mean time. This week Evelyn is in VBS and I am teaching.

Well it is official, our house is sold and all negotiations are finished. We are closing on July 7th. The buyers graciously agreed to push the close date back, so Lance could be home before we close. At that time all of our belongings will begin their journey to Abu Dhabi being that it can take up to 10 weeks for a shipment to get there. We will be living out of our suitcases for the remander of July.

Today I started the huge task of inventorying every item in the house. Thank goodness my mom and Sissy are here to help. Lance left yesterday for a 21 day trip to Abu Dhabi. He called me today when he arrived and sounded exhausted. I hope he can get some sleep and feel better tomorrow.
